Dates before Ezekiel are relative (expressed as sequences and durations); only Ezekiel provides absolute dating (593 BCE). Unlike all preceding eras, the Contemporary Processing Infrastructure is not defined by a dated event or a closed historical period. It represents an ongoing operational protocol that has functioned continuously across human history but was only systematically documented beginning in the late 20th century. Near-Death Experiences (NDEs), Shared Death Experiences (SDEs), and Deathbed Visions (DBVs) constitute perceptual data streams generated when human consciousness interacts with the post-mortem processing infrastructure under conditions of physiological crisis or terminal shutdown.

The phenomenon is ahistorical: consistent cross-cultural reports exist from every recorded civilization, but systematic research began with Moody’s 1975 classification. The infrastructure appears to be continuously accessible and operationally active.
